A fairy birthday card with stamps from Crafty Secrets.
The surprise is on the inside of the card, but I forgot to take a picture of it. The inside has paper from Websters Pages with the exact image printed on it but in reverse.
I like the layering of the Spellbinders die cut outs.
The seambinding has been coloured with Copics, it's a shame the bow is a bit wonky in the picture. I am not that good a picture taker.

Molly Blooms Birthday card
I bought the new Molly Blooms Birthday Parade kit and magazine. After buying last years Christmas Carnival magazine, I was so surprised to see another one with different stamps.
The magazine is really good with so many inspirational pictures and instructions. I really love this style.
Here is my take on one of the cards in the magazine.
I used a Kraft card base and blue glitter card from my stash. The other papers come with the magazine.
Colour: Copics and Glimmer Mist.
Stamp: The cat's pyjama's.
The paper doily has had the Glimmer Mist treatment and I have put glaze on the cherry.

It is similar to one I have made earlier, but not the same.

Dies: Spellbinders, Magnolia Doohickeys.
Paper: American Crafts Crate Paper with the Paper Heart collection, American Crafts card in vanilla and blue, Joy Crafts kraft card.
Just some decorations on the interior of the card.

U R MAGNIFICENT
A break from all the Christmas card making...
What else to change the mood than a little Penny Black. My happy party goers have taken it in their stride, happy you will be.
More Tiffany papers and a simple little card design. The flower is made with Spellbinder dies and held together with a jewel brad.
The colouring is all done with Caran d'Ache Supracolor on watercolour cardstock. I have combined 3 stamps to create this scene.

To someone special
I made a card with some free gifts that were supplied with a crafting magazine in this past summer issue.
Normally I would struggle to use any free gifts as the style or colour might not suit and quite often the quality is not there. This time I just loved the papers and acetates as all the colours were so lively.
The card has a summery feel to it and can be used for birthdays or just to say hello to that someone special.
I stamped this large Hero Arts flower on watercolour cardstock and coloured it with Caran d'Ache watercolour pencils. I added Ranger pearlescent paints in the middle and edges of the leaves.
I used some Spellbinders dies to cut the images and create border and focal point. The acetate butterflies are decorated with some Melissa Frances half pearls.
The inside of the card is decorated with more of the free papers and another writing area made from American Crafts cardstock.

Happy birthday with Wild Rose studio
I have a sweet little birthday card to share with you today. The card is only 5x5 inch and this is my favourite size of card to make and send.
The highlight is this little girl by Wild Rose Studio holding her cat.
The circle sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the flowers are made by heat embossing an Autumn Leaves flower on pink cardstock and cutting them out. The image is coloured in Distress inks and the edging on the blue cardstock in done with Distress crackle paint.
The paper is from Websters Pages and I have also used it to decorate the inside of the card.
I finally found a cheap little Dymo label maker in Cardiff. I like the old fashioned look of these labels and it makes a change of always stamping a sentiment in my cards.

Another year older?
Dust it off, suck it up, press on.
Sometimes you don't want to hear that your getting a day older, but it just so happens.
Here is an easel card to congratulate you on your birthday. Older or not, you still look fab, so enjoy what is still to come.
The paper is from Papermania Rose Garden on Bazill Basics cardstock folded into an easel card. The little doily is sprayed in 3 shades of Glimmer Mist to match the paper. The stamps are from a collection from Crafty Secrets Domestic Godess. The flower is made of tissue paper with a sparkly We R Memory Keepers brad in the middle. The border is cut with a lattice die from Spellbinders and the corners are made with the same set.

Happy Birthday with Tilda
Little cook Tilda is sending you a sweet birthday cupcake.
Meet my new Magnolia card with soft pastel colours!
The image is coloured with Polychromos pencils. The lace is from Polkadoodles, the design paper is from Melissa Francis 5thAvenue and so are the pearls.
I made my own flowers with paper from the 100th Womans Weekly edition. It had a copy of the very first edition in lovely brown paper. I sprayed it with Perfect Pearls. The leaves are made from tissue paper and sprayed with Cherry Blossom Glimmer mist. The sentiment is a stamp by Inkadikado.
The brads are from Making Memories.
I love colouring with my new pencils. I have always loved colouring and it is definitely my preferred medium.
