Molly Blooms boy birthday card

With another stamp from the Birthday Parade Magazine and the inspiration taken from the magazine, I created a boy birthday card. This card is a special fold and I must say that even with the explanation at hand, it still took me a while to put together. There was a lot of measuring involved, but the end result is worth the effort - if I may say so myself.
Cardstock: American Crafts and Joy! Crafts kraft cardstock.
Stamps: Molly Blooms and Lili of the Valley sentiment.
Embellishments: Molly Blooms and Marianne Design twine.
Paper: Molly Blooms Birthday Parade.
Colour: Copics.
Dies: Spellbinders
Inks: Memento ink in dark cacao brown and walnut Distress Ink.
Now waiting for one cute little boy's birthday to come up.

Molly Blooms Birthday card

I bought the new Molly Blooms Birthday Parade kit and magazine. After buying last years Christmas Carnival magazine, I was so surprised to see another one with different stamps.
The magazine is really good with so many inspirational pictures and instructions. I really love this style.
Here is my take on one of the cards in the magazine.
I used a Kraft card base and blue glitter card from my stash. The other papers come with the magazine.
Colour: Copics and Glimmer Mist.
Stamp: The cat's pyjama's.
The paper doily has had the Glimmer Mist treatment and I have put glaze on the cherry.

...and makes my way perfect.

Today it is time to share my final card with the Elisabeth Bell stamps.
She is very elegant with her hat and flowers.
Paper and Card: American Crafts Crate Paper with Paper Hearts collection, American Crafts and Royal Langnickel.
Colour: Copics, Glimmer Mist and Distress Ink.

Shiny little flowers and some paper piercing add the fine detail to this card.
The inside of the card holds a sentiment which I consider ever so true. I love this sticker pack that I bought during our holiday in Florida.

Great strength comes from faith in God

Another free stamp set! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a Elisabeth Bell stamp set with a craft magazine.
I just love Elisabeth's drawings, so whimsical. I had to buy the magazine as I needed these 3 stamps in my collection.
Here is the first card I made and I dug out my Copics again to colour.
Paper: Crate paper by American Crafts with the Paper Hearts collection.
Card: American Crafts and Royal Langnickel.
Punches and dies: Martha Stewart, Magnolia Doohickey, Spellbinders, Woodware inverted corner punch
The inside of the card holds the sentiment. Not stamped this time, but just a sticker from a collection pack.
Ribbon rosette made with blue Paperchase ribbon, folded in two and stitched along the length of the edge, then the ribbon can be gathered (pulled) into a rosette shape,
The whole image has been sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give it some shine factor.
