Acrylic baby album

A baby album for a colleague.
I made this album for one of my colleagues who was expecting a baby, but did not know if it was a boy or a girl. Tricky scans... She has now given birth and it is a lovely baby girl Laura.
I tried to make the album "gender neutral" and used Little Yellow Bicycle papers called Baby Safari. In the end, my album turned out looking more girly, so I was really pleased when she finally did have a girl. I hope she will love her baby album.
I used a Srappy Cat 6x6 clear acrylic tab album.
The completed album with ribbons on the book rings.
I sprayed Prima flowers with Perfect Pearls Pearl. Note: the glitter is not so permanent as the Glimmer Mist. You get very shiny fingers. It is the first time I have bought this brand, but won't be buying it again. The chipboard and cork letters are from Making Memories. The rub-on from American Crafts, buttons by Basic Grey, flock sticker by DCWV spring stack. All trims and ribbons by Making Memories. Here I added some Viva pearls on the trim.
A cute little flocked owl.
Artemio clear stamps to stamp all the little animals in the album. All puffy stickers in this album are by Accessorize. American Crafts rub-on and flock stickers from DCWV.

Rub-on by 3 Bugs in a Rug, Artemio tree stamp.
Puffy monkey stickers.
Rub-on sentiment by DCWV and glazed branch sticker by DCWV.
I created a photo frame with Nestabilities and used American Crafts eyelets.
A DCWV rub-on with a sweet sentiment and a really cute pink elephant.
 More puffy stickers.
A tag for the inside of the book. The back has got lined paper to journal on.
An autumn Leaves clear stamp. The loose tag goes in front of this and can slide behind the sweet cheeks tag.

American Crafts rub-ons with some Viva pearls.
Stamped crocodiles, too cute to bite and an American Crafts rub-on. I added 1 page in paper on top of the 5 page acrylic album.
More puffy giraffe stickers and an American Crafts rub-on on the ribbon.
I left the last page simple, using the effect of the decorated paper and just adding trim and a rub-on.
Back of the book, were I might right a little note for the mum.
The finished album.
It has been a picture rich post, but thanks for visiting.

Merry everything with Mimi (1)

A Penny Black Christmas card with the little character of Mimi. I made several in this range and this is the first one I am going to share with you.
I used a Marianne Design die cut to make the frame and put the image on dimensional glue. I used Cricut Christmas snowflakes with liquid appliqué and added the same for the snow on Mimi.
The design paper is from Papermania and I used old cardstock from my stash. I stamped the little presents with Versamark on the green cardstock and distressed with Distress Inks all the white paper. The flowers are from Petaloo and I added Lemon Ice Stickles as the original glitter kept falling off the flowers.
The image is coloured with Copics and I have added Star Dust Stickles to her wings and the berries on her hat.

Season's Greetings

Welcome to my first Christmas card of the year with this sweet image by Bells and Whistles from Elisabeth Belle.
I had already coloured this image in June during my holiday in the Lakes. I actually coloured a whole stack of images then and kept them for when I had more time to make cards.
I used a Nestabilitie frame called Fleur de Lis with absolutely beautiful details and a scalloped oval to cut the image. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
I used Viva Gold pearl pen to make the little gold dots on the frame and the background and added blue Stickles to her eyes.
The flowers are made up out of white roses and Prima hydrangeas sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist and gold Stickles on the roses.
I made the snowflake from a cut from the Christmas cartridge with my Cricut. I actually made a whole batch, so you will be seeing them a lot more on my cards. The snowflakes are cut on white cardstock. I then covered them with Liquid Appliqué and let them dry. When heated with the heatgun, they turn all puffy. I added some Stickles for the glitter and distressed the edges with ink. In the center is a Doodlebug gem.
The inside of the card has also been decorated with the remaining frame from the Nestabilities and a Hero Arts sentiment. All the papers are from Marianne Design called Eline's Vintage Christmas.
Hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

Give your troubles to God

Another lovely image from Elisabeth Bell on this Sugar Nellie stamp.
The image is stamped on American Crafts textured cardstock and coloured with watercolour pencils.
The edges are punched with an Xcut multiframe punch.
The frame is embellished with flower sequins. The design paper is Eline's Vintage from Eline Pelinkhof in blue and green.
The sentiment is from TCP Studios, some Glossy Accents on the apples and Victorian Velvet to distress the edges.
Another shot of the completed card. The pink background paper is made by spraying Vintage Rose Glimmer Mist on white card. I have used this same technique paper on the inside of the card, so it is nice and shimmery, but you can still write a message. I made the 4 pearls in the corners with Ice White pearl pen from Viva.

Celebrate

Another card with an Elisabeth Bell image.
I coloured with Caran d'Ache watercolour pencils, but adjusted the colour to fit with the K&Co paper.
I made a larger card this time and used a cut from the Damask Decor with the little tea-cup and tea-pot.
A close-up of the detailed cut with added Stickles. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.
The inside is also decorated with the DP from K&Co paper Que Sera Sera.
A close-up of this very cute image by Elisabeth Bell.

Apple shaped card

Hello and welcome to my blog,
I have a card to share with you today; it's another shape card made with my Cricut and Gypsy in the shape of an apple. I used another Magnolia stamp coloured with Distress inks for my card and used K&Co Que Sera Sera paper to decorate interior and exterior.
I used Patina Stickles and distressed the edges of the paper. The sentiments are from Hero Arts and I used a Fiskars squeeze punch to cut them out. The flower and leaves are also made with punches.
The lace is sprayed with Spring Rain and Moonlight Glimmer Mist. I  used gunpowder pearls from Papermania for the flower center and some accents.
A close-up of Tilda with her apple bucket. These images are really fun to colour and I am finding my way with the Distress inks from Tim Holz, so much that I have even bought more colours.
The inside of the card with Hero Arts sentiment.
We went on a short break to London this weekend and had a lovely time. We stayed in the absolute center of London between baker Street and Oxford Street. We visited the National Gallery, Camden Market, Fortnum and Mason, The Royal Academy of Arts, Covent Garden, Soho, the Liberty department store and so much more until our legs ached. We ended our days in China Town where we went for dinner and had a very good time. Just some pictures to share, we actually didn't take many and I didn't bother at all.
The Stables Market with lots of stalls and food and drinks.
 Lovely sculptures at the Stables.

The railway bridge above the Lock and barges
 The locks.
A lot of shops at Camden High Street are decorated with this type of artwork, making it a really fun street.

You are truly amazing

Hello,
My Magnolia card for today is going to be entered at Just Magnolia Week 120: sentiments - challenge.
I have used BG Kioshi paper for this card and American Crafts textured cardstock. I have used the wrapped gift cut from A Child's Year for the front and the interior of the card and decorated it with Stickles. All other cuts are made with Spellbinders. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I sprayed my ribbon with Glimmer Mist Chalkboard Grape Ape.
The interior of the card with a little note-card to hider a gift card in. The little card is a cut from the Damask Décor cartridge.
It is very detailed design and a bit hard work for the Cricut, especially if you don't get the settings right the first time.

Sweet

How time flies! It is the last week of August already and I haven't been posting.
I have got some card ready and I am halfway through making my holiday album which I have made from scratch.
My card for today is made with an Elisabeth Bell image and a cut from Doodlebug cartridge welded with the Gypsy.
I have used October Afternoon papers and the image is coloured with watercolour pencils.
The SWEET sentiment is from the Stamped cartridge. I have added some green Stickles around the wholes to highlight. Distressing is done with Pumice Stone and Peeled Paint.
Some leaves cut with Spellbinders and some lace and Basic Grey buttons.
I used American Crafts textured cardstock and left the inside blank apart from the sentiment.

You shine a light -Webster's Pages-

Hello,
I have been missing for a while. I have had the week off work and I have been crafting.
I just didn't get round to blogging as the weather has been nice and I have spent time outdoors.
I made this card with a Stamps Happen stamp. It is such a cute image and makes me wish that summer would last a wee bit longer. Isn't it lovely to have the sun and long days...
Webster's Yachtclub papers and Marianne Design dies, EK Succes flower punch and sealife rub-ons from my collection.
Colouring with Distress inks, paper sentiment from Webster's pages.
Another close-up view; the dress is Milled Lavender and Stormy Sky.
The inside of the kraft card has also been decorated with DP papers and rub-on.
