Morehead stamps
Hello,
I received a whole lot of stamps sent by my sweet mother. A lot from Morehead, I like these cute little children. I 'll show you one birthday card I made from one set.
The paper I used is from DCWV Spring Glitter stack, the cardstock is also by DCWV.
Ink and colors are Stazon Black ink and Whispers.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Happiness Messages.
The mini eyelets are from Memory Makers and the ribbon is from Joy! Crafts.
The Morehead image is stamped on a pearlescent inlay and then cut out.
Thanks for looking.

Hero arts stamps
Hello,
Just sharing a card made with "micey day" clear stamps from Hero Arts.
Ink and Color: VersaMagic Dew Drop, Tim Holz Distress ink, Whispers Strokes brushpens.
Paper: Marianne Design.
Cardstock: Coordinations Nostalgia.
Flowers: Prima and Marianne Design.
Brads: MemoryMakers, Liquid pearls Raspberry from Ranger.
I like the hand-embroidered look of the paper, it looks like it's really cross-stitched.
We found a strange green bug in the garden. Quite big! At first we thought it was some kind of grasshopper, but it didn't 'hop' and couldn't fly. I 've Googled it, but no results. It sat on one of the Lupine leaves. Would really like to know what it is. Maybe it's family of my "Cricut". LOL.
Bye for now.

Sarah Kay stamp
Hello,
This is my first Sarah Kay stamp I bought. I still remember this character from my primary school days.
The image is colored with Whispers, the cardstock and rub-on sentiment are from DCWV, paper is from K&Co, ribbon is from Joy! Crafts. The shapes and tags are cut with the Cricut. I made this birthday card for a colleague.
This card took me a lot of time. I do love the paper from the Basic Grey Sultry range. These were some leftovers I had from a scrapbook layout. I colored Sarah with Whispers and used Doodlebug Sugar coating on her hat. The rub-on is a sentiment from K&Co Wild Raspberry. The felt and plastic flowers are from American Crafts, the button is from Autumn Leaves, some ordinary twine and a puffy chick from Paperchase. The ribbon is recycled from a box of Belgian chocolates. I ironed it and have been using it in many projects. The chocalates of course have are gone. LOL.
My first Magnolia stamp
Hello,
This is the first Magnolia stamp I bought. Still looking for other ways to color her in as I'm not completely satisfied with the way I did it using Whispers brushpens. The card is cut with the Cricut and so are the frames. VersaMagic Dew drops used for the ink, the cardstock is from Papermania and has been sanded. The red cardstock is from an old pack that I bought years ago and never thought I would use. Paper and 3-D sticker are from K&Co Life's Journey collection. The paper flowers are from Marianne design and were sent to me by my mother some time ago. I couldn't find a shop with Prima flowers close by and asked my mom to have a look where she lives. She choose these as she she didn't like the Prima ones they were selling. LOL. These are really cute, but very dinky.
This card is with DCWV cardstock and K&Co paper that I bought in a big bundle from a Hobbystore at Bluewater. The tags and shapes are cut with the Cricut and the sticker is from Life's Journey. The vintage lace is from my mom's collection. The small brads on both cards are from MemoryMakers. The cards and shapes are all cut with the Cricut.
It's funny how taste changes. When I was little, I didn't like the "old" stuff. Now I can't wait to get my hands on them. I recently bought more lace trims from John Lewis. I 'm also collecting vintage images of children and flowers. Today I purchased to vintage collage sheets in Lyndhurst at The Old Apothecary. This lady sells soaps and creams and perfumes, but all with a vintage touch. She even sells these replica email advertisings. Check it out at: http://www.oldapothecary.co.uk/index.html Very nice indeed.
Each day beautiful
Goodmorning,
Here 's a card I made with the Cricut Home Decor Cartridge I recently purchased. It is one of the cheaper cartridges, because it has less items and options. it also doesn't come in a storage box. Nevertheless, it has some beautiful images on it.
I kept the card really simple, just using different paper from K&Co, the small sentiment is a sticker from the same range. I used some black Papermania cardstock to cut out the word.
Finished it with some blue ricrac and Star Dust Stickles.
Easy-peasy, thanks for looking.

Christmas cards
Hello again,
I 've been really busy today making cards and I have enjoyed every minute. We had a lot of heavy showers today, so that prevented me going out. As I had already 7 girls stamped, I made another 3 cards.
I like this stamp so much, might make even more...
The products used are mostly the same as before. Ink and color: Dew drops, Copics, Whispers.
Paper and card: Basic Grey Wassail, Coordinations Nostalgia.
Glitter: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Stickles Star Dust and Diamond and Distress Antique linen. Brads: Basic Grey, MemoryMakers. Flowers: Prima and trim from stash.
On this card I used an extra sequin from the Bead Shoppe behind the small Basic Grey brad.
This card has ribbon from MemoryMakers FaLaLa range, the star brad was originally an old rose color, but I colored it with a Copic marker.
The round sentiment is stamped with a JustRite stamper from my Monogram set. I inked it roughly with VersaMagic Dew Drop Red Brick and put Glitz-it glitter over the top.
I like the way the cards have turned out. Hope you do to,
Bye.
Get Well cards
Hello,
As promised a few more get well cards. Being a nurse, I love this pretty stamp from the Greeting Farm. I found her a Crafts U Love.
I colored her uniform in the NHS colors, a color I now where too. I was used to nurses wearing only white. Changing felt a bit strange in the beginning when I started working here. But I guess it 's a better color for my image now, couldn't imagine her all in white. LOL.
Paper: Basic Grey Lime Rickey, Ink and colors: Dew drops, Copics and Whispers, Brads: Basic Grey, Flowers: Prima, Glitter: Star Dust Stickles, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Anita's 3D Clear Gloss, Button: 99p store, ribbon from my mom. :)
Here is my lovely nurse again. She 's in her holiday mood now, just like me, so her apron is lighter. She 'll serve you sparkling orange juice and a sweet apple. LOL.
All items used: same as before, only no Glimmer mist, Button: Autumn Leaves French Twist, Ribbon: Hobbycraft.
Hope you like it.
Another get well card
Hi there,
With this swine-flu going on everywhere, I thought this would be a really fun card to send someone.
I purchased this funny rubber stamp from Crafts U Love in June. It is from Whipper Snapper, they have a lot of these comical stamps.
Ink and color: Dew Drop and Whispers, Woodware 3" punch, Cuttlebug: emboss,Paper: Basic Grey Lime Rickey,Cardstock: from stash, Flower: Petaloo, Brad: Memory Makers,Sentiment: computer generated, Vintage buttons from my mother.
Yes, really, my mom sends me a lot of craft stuff, some things she has just lying around. Lol. She 's the best! I send some of my cards to her to use for her friends as she struggles making stuff of her own because of arthritis in her hands. Now I must remember to take a picture first and upload to my blog.
Thanks for watching.
Feeling Yucky
Hello,
Just a quick card I made using Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage stickers "Feel Better".
I also used Basic Grey Ambrosia paper, Tim Holz distress ink, white embossing powder from artemio, rubber stamp from VAP! scrap, Prima flowers, Paperchase organza ribbon, brad from Making Memories and sequin from Bead Shoppe.
Planning to make more Get Well cards ready for my stash. I 've got another weeks holiday and the weather is not to bright. What better way to spend it than at home with my hobby.
Have fun everyone.
Card based on Friday Sketchers #62
Hello everyone, Finished a card last night that I based on sketch #62 of the Friday Sketchers, but it got to late to upload. I'm still getting my head around all this. It 's my first time to parttake in a card challenge. Having problems working out how to put in the hyperlink. Well, lets see if it works. Here is my card.Couldn't decide which is the better picture. I use a Daylight lamp, but I'm still not good at taking the pictures. LOL. Stamp: Lizie&Herb series, Ink: Brilliance Dew drop, Colors: Copics and Whispers, Star dust stickles, Memory makers Button brads, large brad Basic Grey Sugared, Paper: Basic Grey Wassail, Cardstock: Coordination's Nostalgia and DCWV Christmas glitter matstack, Cuttlebug embossing, Prima and Hero Arts Flowers, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on flowers, Trim from stash. I guess it's a bit early for Christmas in July, but I couldn't wait anymore to use the Wassail paper. I bought it last winter in the sales from Crafts U Love. I love all Basic Grey papers. It's a good thing I live far from any of the craft shops I like, but then not so good... LOL. I bought the girl stamp at The Craft Barn, I have stamped 7 of these little girls and colored them in different color schemes ready to use and I have already cut some paper to make more Christmas cards. Talk about getting a head start.
Hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

Here 's a starter.
Hello there,
Just opened this Blog today. I wanted to start one some time ago, but lacked time. I 've been reading and looking at many blogs about paper crafting and oh my... have I been inspired.
There 's a lot of beautiful stuff out there. Thanks for sharing. Now it 's my turn.
I have only recently started paper crafting. Last Christmas, I got a Cricut Expression. Wow! Like it,like it. Over the last few months I added stamping and my love bought me a Cuttlebug too. So the cards I 've been making reflect this process. Some things I 've bought I like more than others, so I 'm still changing as I go.
Guess I should leave you with a few cards I made like 7 years ago, before I read any blogs. Lol, time changes a lot.
