My first easel card

I made my very first easel card this morning. Not difficult, just a bit more work with all the measuring. I like that the card can be big and still fold flat for posting.
I'm entering my card on CCC week 2 and on the Cuttlebugspot Favourite Flowers.
It was also my first time to use the Paisley Cartridge, I used it to cut the 2 Matryoshka dolls, also called Babushka dolls. A true Nestabilitie :) I had one of these wooden dolls when I was a child, a present from my mum's best friend as she came back from holiday. I liked putting them all in a row with the tiny baby at the end.
Unfortunately by moving house to often, I lost it. Now they are back in fashion and come in different styles, almost anything goes now.
I made mine in pastel colors, but they still have the bright cheeks and mouths.
The card when closed.
Standing easel card.
Supplies: Paisley Cartridge, Shapebilities Flower Creations, DCWV cardstock, Sizzix Little Sizzles paper, Copics, 3D glaze, Making Memories brads, Martha Stewart  punch, Hero Arts sentiment, ribbon from stash.

Perfect Easel card Margaret! I love the Matroyshka dolls too. They had that Cricut Cart on sale at my local craft store. Thanks for playing again this week.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers for my mom. What you said was very sweet and true. :)

Welcome first easel card! Thanks for joining us again at CCCB, love the Babushka Dolls and the flowers too. I remember I had a set when I was young too, it always fascinated me how tiny the smallest doll can be. There is a store in New York City has the whole window display with just Kabushka Doll, you got to see it!

How sweet! How sad that you've lost your dolls! Maybe one of these days you'll find them in a box somewhere. You can at least hope, right?
